Re: RAP5
Went ahead and ordered one, although I went with the cheaper fixed-stock-only version (no option of gas in the grip).
Now if I can get one of those Frostbite silencers...
Anybody know if something like this would be compatible?

(ebay cheapies, costing about a 10th of the cost of a Surefire forend).
Or this?

Re: RAP5
Got mine in, but haven't found anywhere in Seattle that can refill the cannister yet- I hadn't realized they used a unique valve on their CO2 tanks. Hopefully I can find someone here that's equipped for that, so I don't have to drop another wad of money on a converter...

Cheap supplies
Just ordered yesterday, so I can't completely vouch for them until I have something in hand... but hey, at $5 for a magazine (that retails for $37 at RAP4.com) it's worth a try! Ordered a couple spare mags for my RAP5 (which I've yet to try, having not found a gas refill place that can handle them) and a few hundred alloy casings.
Paintball Online
(They also have some Airsoft stuff).
Now if only they had deals on those 3oz adapters and disposable CO2 tanks...

Re: RAP5
Damn that was quick! Just got my box. Apparently some items are backordered, but still; an RAP5 mag and casings for a heckofa lot cheaper than retail. Gotta love that!

Re: RAP5
More updates- got the cheapie flashlight forend and top rail off ebay, as pictured/described above. Both fit just fine on the RAP5. Looking pretty nice... now if only I can hunt down a place to fill up the CO2 and actually try the darn thing!

Re: RAP5
Finally got a converter
http://rap4.com/paintball/os/portable-refill-p-272.html
and a standard 20oz CO2 cannister. Tried to fill the RAP cannister, and did, but then the cutoff valve on the adapter apparently doesn't work for the non-RAP style cannisters, because the remaining CO2 just sprayed all over.
At least now I can use the RAP marker, I thought... but no, damn thing doesn't work. CO2 just leaks right out as soon as you open the valve... frack!

Re: RAP5
Okay, I feel a bit the idiot but want fair disclosure here- Just realized looking at it last night that there's no o-ring on the CO2 cannister, and there's supposed to be. Whoops.
So hopefully now I can get a new o-ring and have the damn thing work. I'll keep ya'll posted, but in the meantime, here's a picture of it on set (being used as a non-firing prop)

Re: RAP5
After far too long, finally got some more CO2 in the thing, new O-rings, etc... and it works! About time!
Now I just need to find a better way to refill that CO2; using the connector thing I got from RAP4.com it doesn't close the valve the way it should, so when going from a larger CO2 cylinder into the proprietary RAP cylinder, the extra in the bigger one just sprays out all over the place as soon as I disconnect the smaller one.
