Any whip users on this forum?

My name is James Maxwell. I'm an avid user of the bullwhip. Been at it for 15 years. Trained under Kendall Wells in the DeLongis system. I teach and I learn. Anyone else out there?

I've played with 'em some, but not nearly as much as I'd like. Combination of loud volume, space requirements, and Seattle's wet weather don't help!

I'll have to look you up the next time I'm out west Volume can be regulated, space issues require a bit of work but you can do some pretty cool stuff with a short whip and nylon can be used in all weathers. It's interesting to note the whip is picking up more of a following in the stage/screen arena as it becomes a touch more mainstream. And if a whip is used in a production, nothing can ruin it more then poor and unsafe whip work.
