IN NEED OF !!!! breakaway bar stool and table

Hi,

I'm working on a movie that will need a breakaway table and bar stool. Any ideas from folks on the best way on a low budget to do this?

Any suggestions on this are welcome.

What level of breakaway are we talking about- smash into a wall, fall into it with your back, or break it over an actresses head?

If it's one of the first two, you can get away with rigid padding like a gatorback on the area of body having contact (if any) and pre-scoring pine, with peg & glue construction (no screws, nails, etc).... but if you're breaking it on arms, shins, etc, you need something like balsa.
