Plastic knuckles

I've generally stayed away from brass knuckles, due to various legal issues, but I've always been a bit tempted to try to make a foam pair that would do double-duty as visual prop and, if anything, a little padding.

Still haven't gone that far, but I did find 'plastic knuckles' being made to circumvent the many local laws (including here in Seattle) against 'metal knuckles' (presumably written that way since sometimes they're brass, sometimes steel or other metals). These are hard plastic- don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to get hit with a pair still. They are safer and more legal than metal though, and seem a decent option for stage or film, where you need to add a little seriousness to your (non-contact) punches.

They come in all sorts of colors and designs, but I was wanting to stick with ones that looked like they could be the real deal.
