Reck
Just a teaser at this point, but I just got a Reck commander 1911 style 8mm blank gun off ebay. A little light surface rust that needs cleaning up, but nothing bad. Auction said top venting but it's actually front venting.
I'm pretty excited to try it out- I've only occasionally seen or heard of Reck guns for sale in the USA, and some of their models look pretty nice. This is the first time I've actually gotten my hands on one.
Hopefully I'll get to clean it up, test it out, and post some pictures in the next week or so.
Anybody know if there's a US importer on these?
Picture link from the ebay auction (it'll probably get pulled soon):
Real wood grips, and I'm so glad they didn't paint the muzzle or anything like that! Not sure what the heck they stuck on the muzzle for the pictures, but suffice to say that they didn't do anything at all permanent, and I'm glad of that.

Re: Reck
Got to test it today. Fired three rounds flawlessly, and with the short barrel there was some nicely visible muzzle flash! I'm happy with it. Wish there were more of these available in the US!
Re: Reck
Compare to the Bruni Px4 I just posted pics of. See how this one looks machined, and the Bruni looks cast?
