colt cattleman
I have just purchased a colt cattleman (the 5.5 inch peacemaker) been after one of these for a long time but the price has always been way to high ($600 ish) but as the gun is made of steel, blued and forwarding venting (yes a forward venting replica that is UK legal) it is worth every penny.
I actually picked this up 2nd hand so paid a lot less than normal, i am very impressed with this model it is superb there is good reason for that as the company who make it are pietta who also make real black powder models. Its a 9mm/.380 round that it fires unfortunaly i have not fired it yet so have no idea how good the forward venting is. I thought rather than post pics you could check out the web site http://www.sutlers.co.uk/acatalog/Blank_Firing_Guns_Western_and_Modern.html
Now who does not like the classic peacemaker, surly no one, i would think it is a must have for anyones collection and this has got to be the best blank firing version i have come across, the bruni does not come close and althougb the .22 kimar is a nice model this one creams it and did i mention its forward venting

Re: colt cattleman
Very nice! That's not a maker I've seen available in the US...
Just got a copy of 3:10 to Yuma for my birthday yesterday, and I'm anticipating a desire to play with more Western style guns after watching it.
