Okay, not a blank firing gun thing, but since I don't have a real gun forum here...

The following is from A US News Report on the upcoming court case about firearms restrictions in DC. It shows firearms seized by the D.C. Police:

Anybody else think this is an incredibly stupid way to secure a gun?

Checklist
Pro:
Safety is on.
Finger off trigger.

Con:
Magazine in gun. Maybe unloaded, who the heck knows, but a bad start.
Hammer back. Maybe no round in the chamber, who the heck knows, but a bad start.
Zip tie ON THE FREAKING TRIGGER!
