Polearms? Empty Polearms?

Okay, I'm really tempted by the Cold Steel Pole-axes that have been on closeout for a while, but I'm honestly not sure I'll ever get to use 'em. Seem too big for many indoor theaters. I've got two halberds that are mostly just for costume use, but only one of them has ever seen a rental, and that was as set dressing.

Anybody gotten to use polearms in a film or theatrical context, apart from RenFaire gigs (which is one option, granted...)?
