Umarex Walther PPK function Empty Umarex Walther PPK function

I just got a Umarex Walther PPK CO2. I racked the slide, which is now stuck. There doesn't seem to be a slide release. Does the action on these only work properly with CO2 cartridge installed? Hoping someone has experience with this or similar.

Don't have that particular model, but it could be that you've engaged a safety, but most likely you need to either load bbs or eject the magazine (it could be doing slide lock because it's out of ammo).
